Beauty is the enigma -
That gaily flutters by -
On bonny stained glass wing -
Past discriminating eye -
Come slowly hither butterfly-
And sit upon my palm -
Masterpiece of nature -
Enamoured of thy charm -
Wings like stained glass panels -
Colour vivid and supreme -
Uniquely painted, sweetly tainted -
With pallet got from dream -
Oh if I could dwell like you -
Calm in chrysalis -
I'd take nascent flight upon my wings -
And dance in earthen bliss -
