Emily Dickinson's Life:

"The myth" - of Amherst -surpass all man's history
The annals - of man's cloistered sect -
Can't be sung to perfect paean -
Like Emily's bardic verse - resplendent, resurrect -
Flighty, eccentric - enigma
Enamoured of the babes -
Doth yet eschew the stigma -
Attached to Sappho in fables -
A pleasant fancy consists in all -
The words adjoined - like sitting ducks -
To the love of life she's rapt in thrall -
Dabbles in Love's luck -
