The flame has sullied moments -
When the battles of life by stealth -
Encroach thee with half hid blades -
Put thine heart in bad health -

Serenade her sonorous -
Ever, ever softly go -
As you bow and worship -
Immersed in her glow -
Stoke the flame inside and skip -
Dreaming, rocking to and fro -

The flame has moments of fury -
Her radiant beauty -
Doth withstand cynics trial at jury -
Inspire instead passionate entreaty -

Like does the liquor of the moment churn -
Alike the flame yearn to burn -
Sing for freedom with your flame aloft -
To Paradise, soft -

The flames pheonix experience -
Stoked back to health -
Doth teach the heart passionate art -
And teach it immaterial wealth -

Blessings greet me as I skipped,
Traversed loves miles, unchartered, not mapped.
