Diamond Dream
My Heart had bled - its diamond dream -
Bled buckets - nearly hours -
Chaser - of its keys - passed me quick -
I'm enamoured of his powers -
But now I stray - in empty streets -
But now I am of bruised Mind -
But now I'm hunted by good and bad -
To good I can't reply -
But do I know - this beau regard -
Treads soft across my brain -
Kindling flower of passion -
Which blossomed bright for lovelorn rain -
But then night comes - sunshine' goes
Upon downward commute
and moon doth hath mind rapt in throe
Raise voice to heaven on ancient lute
To messengers - I'm angel too -
All stir the sorry heart -
Wearing its kindest passion -
Which doth the light of love impart -
My Heart has bled - it's diamond dream -
Bled buckets - nearly hours -
For confusion I beget a scream -
And pray for loving showers -
