No orthodoxy is pure. "Atheists" congregate, follow charismatic authors/orators {a.k.a. preachers} and worship Darwin, because "atheists" are people and that's what people do. Humans are inherently social, philosophical, contradictory Beings. "Atheists" staunchly defend their secular faith against heretics, as do all religionists. "Atheists" seek victim-status & they see themselves as a sacred minority in need of legal protection. "Atheists" are devoutly devoted to their brethren. I don't know the origin of the Universe. We may all take comfort and consolation in the fact that no man knows. A man's life spans an insignificant amount of time. One cometh as another go-*eth.
