We think our kids will be better than us
They will have everything they need and even more
But that doesn’t make them great
Your child is not the one who is gonna realize your lost dream
He isn’t so special
He is just like you with the same thoughts and fears of your childhood and your teenage years

So I don’t think we are disappointing them
when we aren’t able to do what they think we are capable
Nonetheless I hope I could satisfy them
Make myself proud and make them proud
For they have given me the chance to grow mentally and spiritually
And I am forever grateful for that
