If a little bit of you dies each day
I wonder how long you'll live
How much of you is left?
How is it that you keep going?
The sand runs quicker than you think
You don't have much left
Though you gain sand from happiness
But that itself is scarce
So what will you do?
Will you waste away?
Or will you live to see another day?
