You patched up my mess
While I burned to death
In between those cinder block bathroom walls,
It was hard to breathe
But I didn't ever want to leave
And you were teaching me
The rules of survival
But you cheered me up,
Acting like a rival
With a jar of glitter,
But you dumped this all on me
In the matter of due-time,
Coursing through my soul without a filter
Do you take someone back after a mistake or teach them a lesson? That's a good question.
