I’m  on the road
Going nowhere
The jack taste so fine to me
I can see the sun is following me
It may catch up I can feel the heat rise
This country station isn’t so clear
Perhaps I should stop and admire the view
My soul is singing
I stare into the sky
Feel close to home
Dirt is flying I can feel the grime
If I just had a one way ticket
I could find what I misplaced so long ago
Find what’s mine
This lonely night that never changes
Faces that stay the same
Another reason to drink
So I don’t belong
I’ll bury myself in the bottle that heats me up so well
For the night I’ll let it all go
