Be it the brush of a quill, or the touch of a pen,
The tools of the hand, written thoughts of men

Words of pain, and words of delight,
Words of what is wrong and what is right

Words of strength and unimaginable bravery,
Words of sorrow and unthinkable slavery

Words of a smile, wishing upon an aura so bright,
Words of a scowl, restoring the ache of a cold, lonely night

With words we grasp tight, from words we believe,
By words we all live, through words we achieve

By written hand or printed page,
May each barren line be a block for your stage

Let your mind wander, make the silent chords heard,
Express all there is, with the power of a word
