Relinquished

I know everyone has an inner fire

I just wish mine didn't try to burn

The World

Down

 

I drank away my early seconds

Praying that'd it'd douse out that fire

 

I wanted reprieve, respite

A resplendent relapse into a

Regal rotunda

A joy that has waited so many years
