Here comes the night.
Here am I,
sitting so relaxed,
Calm and collected
Watching the setting sun,
Watching the night,
quietly and peacefully,
Coming slowly,
powerfully overtaking me.

Here comes the night,
How beautiful it comes,
Enveloping me,
disarming me,
With serenity taking
control of me,
As if with authority
telling me to be quiet.
It's so restful.

Here comes the night.
And now at this
moment I calmly
and slowly drift away.
Here comes the night,
It reminds me that each day,
Brings me nearer to my home.
I yield as it beacons,
because I want to go home.
