Jul 2017
this desire inside my bones
is deeply ingrained.
it fills my body with urges
of experiencing life with someone
else who is not just me.
myself. and i.
so i wish for you to come
away with me.
whoever you are.
that shadow clinging
to the fingertips that meet
with the rays of sunshine
blinding and beautiful.
you, whoever, that ghost
knee high in yellow grass
beckoning me with your sweetness
smiling in the rays
encouraging me to pursue the light
that i so wish to see shine on earth.
pushing me to speak goodness
and kiss each moment with grace
adoration and grateful heart.
come away with me
my darling.
let us see the world
in all of its splendor and tragedy.
