Your heart is an ocean

You bring death and despair

But you have life thriving inside you

Your soul is a fire

Wrathful and destructive

But you can bring new life

Your heat provides warmth

But we must never forget you can burn

Your thoughts twist our perception

But they set us on course

When Left alone we long for you

But together we push you away

At our purest we cannot see you

But in our darkest hour your
presence is clear

Your image is threatening

Yet we give into your care

We are nothing against you

And can be nothing without you
