We’re just ticking death sentences
But I think you have a higher chance to live;
We’re both ticking death sentences
But I think more people would rather pardon your case.

We’ve never really met,
Just talked.
We’ve never really met,
Just laughed at each other’s jokes.
Can’t say fate brought us here;
I don’t believe in it enough;
We’ve never really met,
Just involved.

I hope I could read your words.
I hope I could hear your songs.
I hope I could be enough to make you feel better;
But I never knew what to do.

We’re polar opposites;
See it in our words;
But I know we share a common pain;
One much painful than the other.

Your words have organization,
Your words have power;
Mine has none;
No meaning, just rotting.

Nevertheless, I ache to see the truth you write,
Maybe then you’ll see my truth barely understandable;
Maybe then you’ll give me second thoughts,
Even if we’re both ticking death sentences.
I'm tired
