Mixing it up down in Brixton
fixing some lines in my brain
Windrush is busy,
not peaceful,
the
poetry flies all the same.

It's a give and a take it
the day's what we make it
I choose to make it
my own.

mixing it up down in Brixton
home to a few of my friends
giving it large on the pavement,
a candle that burns
from both ends
