Washing over me
like waves,
octaves
staves
making more waves,

can you hear Handel
Beethoven or
Mendelssohn?

I can hear
Schubert in the
closet
composing
wedding music
using sound waves
juggling octaves
marrying the staves
together,

it washes over me
like
Blake's requiem
becomes
my
Jerusalem
as I make my
way home.
