I want to climb up a redwood tree
Kiss the face staring back at me
I want to cry into the ocean
Be overcome with emotion

I want to sing in the open wind
Explain to you my devotion
I want you near as the fire burns
I don't want to cause a commotion
But I've succumb to your potion

I want to walk holding hand in hand
Through the park like couples do
As long as I feel the notion
Do whatever you choose to

I want to feel your body next to mine
At night in bed or at the checkout line
As we grow old like a real fine wine
My heart belongs to you

I want to share in what the future holds
Carve it out into a plaster mold
I want to share my world with you
If you'll allow me to
Don't let my heart grow cold
