Staring out the open window
Feeling the breeze whip through my hair
Lightning strikes again and again
But the rain feels so pleasant
The wind howls through the trees
As I sit there on my knees
Begging the world to please
Please love one another
And stop the ridiculous waves of hate
I can sense dark times ahead if the world continues on its spiral downward. A world full of hate like this needs a change for the good of us all.
