May 2012
The hollow Moon awaits
shadows quicken alongside
the sandy loam.
Golden boughed elms
beyond the Saxon mound
shake their autumnal cloak
in reckoning.
The dawn already sated
panics the Wood Nymphs ,
hedges no longer linear
disjoint their passage.
They spittle like bugs traversed
one strange illusion after another
will see their wings mottled.
