When people ask me why I don't pursue writing as a career the answer is the literary equivalent of dark chocolate--I love it but it's bitter-sweet and it melts when you hold on too tight, and for too long the answer is complicated in fact, its a relationship deeply personal a high stakes investment ...that's not about the money the point of the matter is if my financial stability depended sole on my ability to produce written gold I'd say that's far too much pressure and the only pressure that should be found in writing should be the tip of my pen once it's ink hits paper
