This is a poem for when i die
I bet you're sad, not really but listen up
I don't need your tears because i wouldn't cry for you either
I don't need your sympathy so move on
With your petty lives that will never amount to anything
Don't fret about it, everyone's included, even me
Your efforts won't make you into a human being
Then why am i alive, you ask
Just enjoy yourself while it lasts
Why should you work hard when all will be gone
Your achievements are in vain
Your treasure is worthless in the afterlife
But my family and friends, you say
Don't worry, your emotions will fade
There's only darkness which is quite alike
To what you're seeing now
Because light is only a perception
The act of deception in our brains
Saints and sinners, heaven and hell?
What a convenient lie for people to tell
I've sold my soul to a devil long time ago
Your justice never took me down, i stood above it
I made my own rules, i lived comfortably
I have no regrets, i'll start again
Make a fire that will blaze through the lonely nights
Find a new desire, face different and unfamiliar heights
That's just the cycle of life
But stay true to yourself, don't pretend to be someone else
I had a happy ending, i'm sure of it
Even if it was unfair or too early, there are better places to be
Who am i kidding
I'm sorry that you're still reading, trying to find a meaning in this
We've all been set to an inescapable outcome so i'll be waiting
At the next door, while you slowly burn off.
