The cloud has moved on
I once honored the rain in my life
No matter how inconvenient
But I blew it all away
Like a candle before bed time
Take a look at me now
I once thought of myself as you saw me
It's not a way of life anymore
I can't wait to not care
But that is a lie
My intentions are better served as mistakes
It's just that my expectation of you hurts
Especially when you don't notice at all
