May 2017
I break in to
the souls that never mend,
I crave attention
without ever knowing
my own destination.
I am a horror,
I am a bug,
I am the slug
on the bottom of your shoe.
I cry for help
that never comes
I swallow them
in pieces
like chewing gum.
I do it for death,
I do it for the means
of a safety net.
I take and I take,
I spend until my last dime.
Try to shield the truth,
I cannot hide as well
as my past times.
He's back and
better than ever.
I'm floating in his win,
light as a blue feather.
