Age comes in

part one

The signs are there as age comes in
my body aches where once id win
can feel the calling my body fades
muscles wasting ..failing grace
breath is shorter the time does wane
fewer winters left to play
grasp more candles whilst you can
age is winning **** you man
creaks and groans yet here I stand
standing tall inside my head
whine all day about my ails
does me good as body fails

Part two

sod this life for I can win an age is inner
I feel thin
take the pills that keep me strong
dance all night and worry none
drink and drink till you fall down
no excuse its on the town
aches all gone just for a bit
wine is winning does its trick
until tomoro when age comes in
I'll party hard and drink the drink

Part Three

Can barely move my body as age has won the day
no grasp upon my life as life has slipped away
my bones are weak and all has failed
human meltdown frail does meek
Yet I remember
the day I danced a night away
I remember
a day I lived a life
I remember
My life I lived
I lived my life
