Love is a living, breathing thing,
Let it be, cherish its wings,
Celebrate her mind, adore,
Her kindly eyes, which give child awe,
Love is the fattening pear on the tree,
That gives its bounty generously,
Love is the Rainbow; no start, no end,
Love is the sublime, cherished friend,
Who treads with soft paws light over the Earth,
Pleasing all creatures the breadth of its girth
Love sings at dawn when the birds all rejoice,
Filling the sound of the Earth with their voice,
Love's the way, to start each day,
Palliative to despair, dismay
For Love's companionship all souls do dare and strive,
With grateful thanks for her being alive.
