If only you could see the world through my eyes.
To see if you would crack and crumble just like me.
The heartbreak witnessed a few feet away.
So close you could reach out and stop it from happening.
Instead you turn your back and walk away.
I wonder if your eyes would cry as many tears that night like mine.
Soaked pillow through to the bed, stained with regret and the unthinkable.
Your process of life now scarred and no longer sacred.
Clearly we did not look at this world through the same vision.
