We stood face to face staring
at each others tears of joy
because it has been so long
apart wondering what we
have been doing and why
we ever parted. . .

And I said with trembling lips
why did you have to leave me
and you could not feel my pain
and staying together you had
nothing to gain. . .

My mind flashed pictures of
our past together. . .so fast
that I almost forgot. . .you
were standing there as if
someone had made you a dare

And suddenly you were gone
as fast as you came, acting as if
you didn't care, as if you were
still playing your sick little game.
