Would you love me
if I were a stone
that you could throw
off of a cliff,
bloodless, heartless,
unable to shout?
Would you love me
if I were dust
that you could scatter
in the wind,
without hope
of ever seeing it again,
lost forever?
And if I were a silent shadow,
a light off in the dark
or a stick made of feathers?
I'm alive

never forget it.
