You've painted a picture
Inside my lids
A beautiful caricature
Like the ones when we were kids
The longer I look
The more I see
And now I'm hooked
On vibrant scenes
Every time I close my eyes
I'm wrapped up in spring's delight
And colors that I've never seen
Life's just been a black and white dream
But now I see a spectrum of light
My thoughts are like bees taking off in flight
I've forgotten the world as I knew it before
With all these colors and sights to adore
You'll never know how perfect you are
Pristinely aligned like twinkling stars
I reach through space to hold your hand
Over Venus and asteroid bands
My heart breaks into shards of light
Burning up, glowing bright
Nevermind
