I want a house with walls, two windows and a door
Says the child who never lived in one before

I want to know what red feels like
Says the child who was born blind

I want to know what clean water tastes like
Says the child who has lived in drought

I just want a home, some food, water and some color
But another name for the universe is chaos
And we are expected to be content
Afterall, all it ever promised us, was life
And even that is never guaranteed.
