Poems
Apr 2017
I wandered back up the cobbled path
I wandered down the cobbled path,
On a sweetly fragrant summers day,
What a difference a shade makes
when skies are blue instead of grey
I walked down beside the meadow
humming with creatures great and small,
Dancing amongst the wild flowers
The beauty of them all
I felt overcome with joy
It's the trivial things you know
to relax and enjoy mother nature
Let all your worries go
Dancing along side them
to the beat of my own drum
I honoured every one of them
by creating my own hum
I wandered back up the cobbled path
On the most beautiful summers day
I knew creating my happiness
Is never too far away
#nature
#happiness
