Ardour springs
Pastel of flowers sprayed
leaves a backyard harbour.
Shards of sunlight enrich,
as renews sleeping ardour.
Crescendo of insects hum,
in crickets, gnats and flies.
Skies soft rainbow palette
Winter's doldrums disguise.
