It's just a box
Something to put other things in
Storage, if you will
Of memories attached to the physical
And so we are attached
To what we put in the box
Enough that even in waking
It will haunt our dreams
It's just a box
Four walls, a top, a bottom
Some detail here and there
Not too terribly complex
It even comes with a split lid
So that everyone can see the view.
