Pyjamas?
said Ted
(straw filling his head)
'are you ready for bed?"
I am
"Oh"
he said"

He paced back and forth
with a fifth
(because he'd been down on the Bowery)

after that his language got flowery
as he got as drunk as a junk on
the Yangtze.
