Reliably she rises
Her glow so radiant yet
Her mood so cool
Her power raise the tide
Her power close the eyes
Vast and mysterious is she

Gaze upon her beauty
View every crater
In awe of every valley
Her shadow carves triumphant curves

She so close yet she still so far
Here for us here for all
One small step; a step too many
Giant leap; she needs no feet
Do not force upon your flag

She is not to be owned
She is free to roam
In circles round
The gravity holds
Like a guiding hand

She is beauty
She is grace
I want to make out with the moon’s face
i just really ******* love the moon
