She's roaming in the gloaming but she's roaming in my heart
Digressing with her feet that dance and digress
Made cruelly nearer for being apart
With her I want to make like child, regress
She is wise, reliable like an ancient tree
That gives diligently and doesn't take
She is the guardian bestowed unto me
I haven't know her to make many a mistake
Together we have fathomed joy
And made mischief when we were bored
All our resources we employed
To yield the treasures sweet and coy
O bonny lass, be forever friend
My love for you has no start, no end
