Walter

Pound of flesh

for an ounce of freedom.

Somehow this all seems so unredeeming.

Give back

Give a little.

Not enough.

Give a lot.

Not enough.

"Give yourself so that I may take."

Give myself.

Too much.

Another pound of ****** flesh splatters on the table

Still you sit emotionless.

Express

Regress

Expose

Impose.

Take my flesh,

Bleed me dry,

Skin me whole.

Devour my soul.

Walk away.

****** mess.
