Her smile is like a summer's day
a taste of tepid waters and warm embrace
she is like a rose with petals shaped like the moon
not to wallow in fumes of switched on heaters
but to spread the fresh aroma of a summer's day.

She is like a summer's day,
but winter comes too soon.

A summer's day where the grass is green
the bees buzz and the things seen
will be indelible from the memory.
