I'll watch the sky bleed, once again this morning
At the behest of the sun's blade
And I won't think of you
I'll see the frost sparkle on the grass like pixie dust
Listen to the cardinals chirp
And I won't think of you
I'll sit on those old tree roots up at the top of the hill,
Watch the mist rise off the lake
And I won't think of you
I'll watch the squirrels chase each other
Scare the graceful deer with my steps
And I promise,
I won't think of you
