When my heart thumps in time
To the rhythm of your rhyme
My spirit sparks and starts to smile
Wanting to wallow for a while

You brought life unto the dead
Namely the passion in my head
Imbuing flame of luscious red
Now I love to live instead

Passion is a volcano lying dormant
Her eruption has been truant
But saunters in Love, incongruent
Of it I am most persuant
