We could both of us stare
At the same moonlight
And wish upon each shooting star
To make day of the night
And the words that we write
Return us from spaces afar
To find solace again in these arms
And the warmth of the sun in your eyes
But the moon still refuses to show me
What lies 'neath the star-crossed disguise
