And she hated it;
Absolutely with uncertain doubt
Terribly, truly, indeed hated;
How he could make her smile
While she was crying over him.
Just the thought of him.
But never his presence.
It was always the lack there of.
She would lay awake thinking of him;
Laughing at herself for being stupid,
And crying for falling so stupidly.
All the while telling him
She didn't care at all.
