No sun today awakes me
To a country I don't know
No solace in the overcast
Shadows you impose
Upon the dreams of old
Only nightmares now unfold
Disguised as flags of patriotic
Stories never told
By your tongue of solid gold
Your wealth piled by the load
When all the soldiers had to go
Did you humble your abode?
No, you left us in the cold
And only got us fired
On a ******* tv show

While you sat upon your throne
And thought your little thoughts,
Licked your little fingers dry
Of all the wars we've fought
In the streets you've never sought
To help rebuild the crumbling structures
Just the ones you'd bought
And only sold your soul
To the devils you hath wrought
Deep inside you're black as coal
The gaping hole within this plot
Americans that you see not
In a mind so closed and rotten
To the shallows of its core
Lies these faces all forgotten

*All these words are nothing more
