“You wander from room to room
Hunting for the diamond necklace
That is already around your neck!”* -Rumi

You didn't ask to
be the center of
the Universe
and yet you are here
a radar at the center
of the cosmos
revealing itself over
and over again.

You think you are sane
but you dream in songs
the colors come dancing from
a myriad of crazy

You think you are no one
yet you have the
voice of antquity like
a thousand sybils
bearing prophecy

You are not the drop of tear
from sullen eyes that
has forgotten

You are celestial and
raging with divinity

May you remember
that you are holy
and immaculate

Come, and take your place
