The second sun glowed deep into the night as my path lay open
only the few could see the sorrow in my eyes as the light faded
yet the glow grew wider as my heart cried out
I was the wrong side of the road

My madness enriched from the fullness of tide
yet quelled from a loved one my love of my life
times like these are so special and rare
to face the end no worries gone fear

I stepped over the line to come back to this time
a happier person a whole brand new life
me is back me again until the glow shows
a sign from the second sun I fear my heart woes
