I am looking for
the once familiar group hoping
to see myself
amongst them

Acrossing the street
I come to the bookstore knowing
there I can find them
I scan each bookcover
walking through each aisle as if
passing by every home

Every door is well decorated
with owner's name on it
I, must be hiding behind
one of the doors, the different doors
hiding from myself
