My own best friend
From the womb 'til the end I'll remain my own best friend

I loved myself first.
I loved 'til I burst.
Learned that love was a curse.

So I'll remain my own best friend

The most loyal
The most independent
The one you'll never forget

The one that got away
The one you wish had stayed
The one who's got you hella bent

Now you're wishing you would have confessed it
Shuffling through "what if's"
But this Queen is a gift you never opened
The player never wins

Ima be my own best friend
From my beginning to my end
