Remember when, one man with his exquistive style of vocals.
Spoke and attracted attention from law authorities and the press.

He  didn't bent in fear.
But rose to the height of being known.
That man was Malcolm X.

Remember when, a unknown pastor led a protest created by assigned rules.
And the woman that stood firm about not moving.
That lady was Rosa Park and that man was Martin Luther King.

Remember the group that fed the homeless in Oakland, California.
Legally carried a weapons by law until fear grip those of the law.
Who furiously branded them wrongly?
They were the Black Panthers.

Strange, how those that follow the laws?
Gets branded quick as troublesome.
But the real troublemakers get treated with kid gloves by the press.

Written history, we all leave behind.
But honest truth emerges in time.
