Sweetened cereal
Rolled out corn
In funny shapes
Fills my mouth
And excites my tongue
This cereal that has witnessed
My whole life
Has no clue what
Impact it still makes
It takes me back to
A simpler place
Deep inside my soul
Where innocence roams freely
And love surrounds my bones
I did not bleed blood when I fell
But instead I merely bled
Faith
Maybe that's why I am
Where I am
Today
